TBRI® Caregiver Training

Pathways is proud to offer the Trust-Based Relational Intervention® Caregiver Training (TBRI® Caregiver Training) to current Pathways foster families and community partners at no cost.

The TBRI® Caregiver Training is an intervention for caregivers of children who have faced abuse, neglect, and/or other trauma. This program is designed to be highly interactive and is delivered by certified practitioners. TBRI® Caregiver Training uses an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach. It aims to provide parents and caregivers with the tools needed to meet each child’s needs.

Pathways regularly offers training cohorts through a virtual platform, so that our foster families and community partners around the state can participate. To find upcoming training dates or more information, please contact Mystri Hipsher, Pathways Training Director, at mhipsher@mosaic-consult.com or 210-733-7117 x613.

TBRI® is a national training model, created by child development expert Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross, and is a registered trademark of the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. To learn more about TBRI® visit the TCU website.
